Emilio Alva

My name is Emilio Alva Jr. I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas on the border with Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. I saw firsthand the importance of living, studying, and working alongside our neighbors from Mexico. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Government. Afterwards, I earned a Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M International University in Laredo before attending law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. While at St. Mary’s, I was fortunate enough to study in Innsbruck Austria for a summer. I traveled with fellow students throughout Europe experiencing other cultures and backgrounds. I came away with a newfound appreciation for other countries, their citizens and how they view the United States. My law practice has included filing applications for Visas, Permanent Residency, and Naturalization, as well as representing clients in deportation hearings. I feel truly blessed with an opportunity to help others seeking the American dream for themselves and their families.
