You will receive an email shortly that will detail the next steps in your immigration journey, but first, we want to give you a quick overview.

First, your immigration application will go to USCIS. Then, hopefully within a month, you should receive a Receipt Notice. Within this Receipt Notice, you will be given information on how to register your application on the USCIS website, so that you can get updates via text or email as your application moves along. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding, as USCIS processing times vary. 

We ask that you keep your Legal Team informed of the following: 

• If you get married, separated, or divorced; 
• If you move —keeping your address up to date is very important so that USCIS knows where to send you documents, and so that you’ll receive important USCISNotices;  
• If you have any contact with the police or immigration; 
• If you plan to travel; and
• Any other important life changes that you think your Legal Team should be aware of.
