The Executive Order Suspending Immigration Is Here

Hello friends,

On Monday night President Trump tweeted,

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!”

Many of you called us with questions about how this might affect your case. Yesterday afternoon, the Executive Order was announced, and as usual, the actual order has fewer teeth than the tweet suggested. The actual order suspends immigrant visas at the US consulates abroad for the next 60 days. It will not apply to cases processing in the US. For more details, feel free to watch the video below.

If you are our client and your case is affected by the order, we will be reaching out to you individually. As always, call, text, or email us with your questions. We’re here to help.
