To assist in the education of aspiring horticulturists and environmental enthusiasts, The Garden Club of Austin (TGCOA) has partnered with the Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy to provide a paid summer internship. As one of the most beautiful and serene outdoor spaces in Texas, the Zilker Botanical Garden offers a chance for interns to gain hands-on experience in landscape management, plant propagation, and garden design.

The TGCOA allotted funds to cover all expenses related to the internship program, including stipends for selected candidates. This initiative aims to boost students’ interest in ecology and conservation efforts while expanding their knowledge base through practical training. Selected interns will also have access to resources such as educational workshops and guided tours that will help them develop their skills further.
