Dear Client:

You are receiving this email because your Legal Team is filing your application with the immigration court today. Congratulations! 🎉

We will send you a copy of the file your Legal Team has submitted, along with the tracking information for you to confirm delivery with immigration. Please keep this information in a secure location for your personal records.

Your Legal Team will also email you about next steps.

Please let us know if you, or any of your derivatives, move, change phone numbers or email addresses, get married or divorced, want to travel domestically, or if you have any contact with the police or immigration. Please keep us updated on any life changes you think we may need to know about.

If you know anyone who could benefit from our removal and deportation defense services, please refer them to our office for a consultation.

Right now, we are waiting on acceptance of your application from the court. As soon as possible, we will reach out to start the process to apply for a work permit, if you are eligible.

Generally, you must wait five (5) months after your application is accepted by the court before filing for a work permit.

Do NOT travel outside of the United States without consulting with us. In most cases, leaving the country while you have a case open in immigration court will trigger the judge to consider your case abandoned, and will result in a final order of deportation.

Some things you can work on now are gathering and putting in a safe place evidence of good moral character and physical presence in the United States. Your Legal Team will be in touch with you via email about the required evidence specific to your case.

We do not know when your final hearing will be, but we will continue to monitor all future hearings for your case. We will notify you as soon as the court updates us. You can also check the date, time, and location of your next hearing date at the Immigration Court website: https://acis.eoir.justice.gov/en/.

There are currently 1.5 million cases pending in the immigration courts, so unfortunately there is a backlog, and we do not have any control over the court scheduling. These processes can be slow, but we do believe that it is all worth it in the end.

Please keep an eye on your email, because you will be receiving more detailed instructions from your Legal Team in the coming days.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Client Care Specialist. Your Legal Team is readily available to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for your trust and confidence.
