Dear Client:
You are receiving this email because we have received your I-693 Deficiency Notice from immigration.
To clarify, the I-693 is the form number for the Medical Exam.
Though this notice may seem a little scary, we want to assure you that there is nothing to worry about.
The I-693 Deficiency Notice is a standard notice issued by immigration as a reminder that you will need to submit your Medical Exam to immigration at the time of your interview. In fact, this Deficiency Notice is usually a sign that your Adjustment application has passed the preliminary review, and you will be put in line to await your interview date.
We would like to remind you that we do not submit the Medical Exam (form I-693) alongside your initial application because Medical Exams have an expiration date. Medical Exams submitted with the initial application usually expire by the time an Adjustment application is processed, forcing clients to do a Medical Exam twice.
In order to avoid having you redo a Medical, we instead submit it at the time of your interview. Submitting your Medical Exam at the interview will not affect your eligibility.
No action is needed from your part at this point. Please wait until you receive your Interview Notice to schedule your Medical Exam.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Client Care Specialist. Your Legal Team is readily available to address any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for your trust and confidence.
Our best,
